1 . DMS camera installation
DSM cameras can detect and alert unsafe driving behaviors . By detecting changes in the eyes and face identify all unsafe driving behaviors of the driver while driving, and provide corresponding voice prompts accordingly
Unsafe driving behaviors include :
a . Fatigue : yawning closing eyes
b . Make a phone call
c . Distracted driving : looking left and right looking down
d . Smoking
e . Driver anomaly : The driver has left the driver's line of sight
The selection of installation location for DMS cameras should be based on the following principles :
Installation location : It is recommended to install it on the center console or instrument panel as shown in Figure 1
Installation angle : It is recommended to ensure that the angle is within 30 ° to the right in front of the driver and the smaller the angl the better as shown in Figure 2
Installation distance : The distance between the camera and the face ranges from 60cm to 120cm and it is recommended to install it at a position of about 80cm
Ensure that the face is in the center of the DMS camera (can be confirmed through the mobile app)
Ensure that the DMS camera does not obstruct the driver's line of sight or interfere with the driver's vision

The distance between the DMS camera and the driver's face is not obstructed by other debris such as the steering wheel;

The DMS camera needs to be kept horizontal on both sides and cannot be tilted.

Under the above conditions the smaller the deviation angle between the DMS camera and the driver's front face the better and it is best to face the driver directly
